A term paper is generally a research paper written by undergraduate students on an academic term, typically accounting for about a third of a standard’s complete mark. Merriam Webster explains it as”an article written at the conclusion of a term of research, for use in the course for the length of research for this term”. Term papers are graded on a different scale than other essays, giving a decrease score for each semester than for the entire course. There are some different styles for writing a term paper, among which is often referred to as the”citation design”.
